"Very happy with the results obtained in Madeira and although there are still things to improve, I had a very good feeling in the race and I was able to go from less to more while managing my strength and energy progressively throughout the race.
It has been a tough race but one of those that are cool, like the ones in the past, in the open sea, with wind and waves. The real open water.
Finishing in 34th position (19th to two swimmers per country) and 1st Spanish swimmer, I have fulfilled the selection criteria and now I am at the discretion of the coach to see if I am qualified for the World Championships in Doha 2024, which in turn is a qualifier for the Olympic Games. While waiting for the official call-up, I will have to keep on training and improving because the best is yet to come.
Thank you very much and best regards!
